The Challenge

Sciacca's carnival is one of the most important mundane events of Italy, also twinned with the legendary Carnival of Salvador de Bahia.

It counts up to 100,000 visitors on average every year, 120 years of history and tradition are condensed in 6 spectacular days filled with side events and activities, guests, testimonials followed by 5 days of parades of the majestic and traditional hand made allegorical floats and folk group masquerades.

Our agency was called to select and identify a list of companies interested in joining the project. Enel Group with the participation e-distribution as the main sponsor of the event, wanted to remark his market presence.


They needed an exhibition solution that was product oriented and that precisely stated the company's vision. Customer goals: Brand awareness, Expanding "e-distribution" reach in the region, Present the new generation of electric meters "open meter" about to be installed by the company in the host town of the event, Customer loyalty, Sign-up new customers to the e-distribution website.

Solution

The deal with the main sponsor (E-Distribuzione) required the affixing of the new logo to all the event related communication:
Press, Newspapers, Tabloids, Posters and Promotional totems as well as TV Broadcasting and infomercial videos.


A social media campaign was also part of the deal, and it consisted of extensive coverage of the event on Facebook and Instagram.
We designed a set-up that included a custom booth embellished with the customers graphics in order to boost the brand visibility throughout the event, a Video-Wall was also installed to show the client's new products to the public.


In order to offer a "Hustle Free" exhibition experience for our customer, Chip&Byte provided an "end-to-end bundle":
Starting with the design, the production and both the assembly and disassembly of the booth Once the event was over.

Results

Top ranking visibility on national media broadcasting and gained reach in brand awareness on a regional level.
Follow-up consisting of the making and sharing of digital content and business feedbacks: video, photo and datasets for the final evaluation of the event's success. subscriptions to the customer's website.
